Muscle-Enhancing Behaviours and Performance-Enhancing Substance Use among Canadian Adolescents and Young Adults: A Grounded Theory Study

Do you worry about your muscle size and definition?

Are you trying to become more muscular?
Do you lift weights, use protein powders, or take steroids?

Researchers at the University of Toronto are seeking participants for a study investigating the experiences of young people ages 16 to 30 who are concerned about their muscularity.

Participation will involve an interview that will be approximately 60 minutes long. Participants will receive a $25 Starbucks gift card as compensation for their time.

Additional details about this study are available on this webpage. If you are interested in participating or have questions, please contact Dr. Kyle T. Ganson, Principal Investigator, by email at or by phone at (416) 978-6394.
