Exploring Ruling Relations of Care Practices in Eating Disorder Treatment

An Institutional Ethnography of Care in Ontario


Participate in a study that seeks to identify potential avenues for transformation in care processes and relations in formal eating disorder treatment. 

Researchers at the University of Guelph are seeking participants for a study to explore the care practices of service providers to explicate the processes that govern how care is and can be provided to clients in in-patient, day-patient, and/or residential eating disorder treatment. 

Eligibility criteria:

  • you are a service provider (i.e., dietitian, social worker, nurse, therapist, psychologist, or other registered professional);
  • you have a specialization in eating disorder care; and
  • you have worked in an in-patient, day-patient, and/or residential eating disorder treatment program in Ontario within the past 5 years.


Participation will involve a 60- to 90-minute interview.
