School Materials

We believe in the importance of educating and collaborating to build understanding surrounding body image, self-esteem, media literacy, and body-based bullying and food.

By targeting all elements of a school environment, including the physical environment and digital spaces, this provides students with strategies to navigate conversations about weight, food, and shape both within the classroom and beyond.

Posters

We have developed age appropriate posters for your classrooms, school hallways, and shared spaces that aim to promote positive relationships with one’s body and mental health. Topics include:

  • Self-worth and self-esteem
  • Relationship with movement
  • Relationship with one’s body
  • Social media red flags
  • Navigating diet culture
  • Supporting others
  • Supporting your own personal wellbeing

Social Media Messaging

We have developed ten graphics with complimentary captions to be posted on Instagram or any other digital platform your school uses. Ideally, a graphic can be posted once a month over the span of one academic school year. By providing consistent messaging and promoting NEDIC’s live chat and helpline services, you can support those who may benefit from our services – whether it be students or parents.

We appreciate that each school will have unique populations and needs. Therefore, we encourage you to tailor the captions to connect with your student communities and their families.

You can find downloadable links to the graphics, captions, and alt-text and image descriptions here.
