Colouring the Conversation is a culturally safe, trauma-informed space for racialized folks to discuss the complex, intersecting identities of being racialized and having lived and/or living experiences of disordered eating, body image, and/or self-esteem concerns.
This drop-in group is a casual space to connect with others. Discussions are facilitated by two of Peer Mentors who have experience with eating disorder recovery, have completed our training, and are part of the BIPOC community.
Register once and attend one or both sessions.

Let's Talk About Fat: Challenging Fatphobia and Weight Stigma

This group is intended for individuals from Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities to come together to explore and share their unique experiences, challenges, and triumphs in navigating eating disorder recovery.

TRANS, NON-BINARY, AND QUEER PEER SUPPORT GROUP

This group is a space specifically for individuals within the trans, non-binary, and queer communities who are navigating the complexities of eating disorders or disordered eating.
Dates: Thursdays, August 8 to September 26, 2024
Time: 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Fee: $50 for general registration, with a pay-what-you-can option; there is no cost for all persons identifying as Indigenous, First Nations, Métis, or Inuit/Innu

This online workshop is designed to equip carers with practical skills derived from Emotion-Focused Family Therapy that will help them strengthen their relationships, with their loved one and respond effectively to strong emotional reactions.
