Assessment of reasons for food restriction and binge eating

Do you or someone else think you have an eating disorder?



Researchers at the Psychology of Eating and Related Disorders (PEAR) Lab at Western University are seeking participants for a study that is being conducted to validate of a measure which assesses the reasons why individuals engage in food restriction and binge eating, or the functions of these behaviours. 

This is a remote study. Participation will involve spending approximately 15 to 25 minutes completing an online survey which contains a new eating disorder functions measure.
You are eligible to pariticipate if you:

  • are at least 16 years old;
  • currently engage in food restriction and/or binge eating; and
  • live in Canada or the U.S.

If you choose to participate, you will be given the option of providing your e-mail address to be entered into a draw with a 1 in 4 chance of receiving a cash prize.
