Canadian Trans Youth Health Survey 2024

Are you between 14 and 25 years old and live in Canada? Do you identify as trans or non-binary, or feel your gender doesn’t match your body?

Researchers from around Canada, led by Principal Investigator Elizabeth Saewyc at the University of British Columbia (UBC), are seeking participants for a survey to learn more about health issues facing trans youth. Results of this survey will be used to improve trans youth health services and programs throughout Canada.

The survey may take up to an hour (60 minutes) to complete.

Questions ask about your physical health, injuries, emotional health and stress. Other questions ask about your school, work, and family life. There are also questions about things you do that might affect your health, like alcohol or drug use, sports, sex, foods you eat, and your sleep.

This survey is completely anonymous. Your answers will be kept private on password-protected computers in Canada. No one will be able to link your answers to you. Only researchers on the team will see your answers, and they won’t know who you are.
